Ford Motor Company is recalling a large selection of 2020 model year Ford vehicles over a safety compliance issue regarding the rearview camera.
The defect: insufficient voltage due to a defect in the circuit board internal to the camera may cause intermittent issues with image distortion and blank displays.
The hazards: safety concerns are minimal. This is a compliance recall to ensure the rearview camera system is operating in a way that is compliant with current Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.
Ford Motor Company is not aware of any reports of accident or injury related to this condition.

The fix: dealers will remove and replace the defective rear camera unit.
Owners should: wait for a Ford recall notice to arrive by mail, and contact their local Ford or Lincoln dealer with any questions. Recall notifications should begin arriving on November 7th, 2020.

701,114 vehicles recalled on top of previous recalls? this company's quality control reminds me of the transmission problems they had during the seventies.
I've complained repeatedly to the dealership about it.. I have a 2020 F-150 and the problem is interment glad they finally issued a recall notice on it.
They are aware of accidents, I reported mine!! Is Ford now covering up accidents they are responsible for??? Looks like it to me! I’m thinking an attorney and massive lawsuit is in order!
Lawsuit? Only the lawyers might make money if allowed to go to court. Consumers, maybe a free oil change.
I have a 2011 ford explorer limited. /while backing out of my garage the other day my rear camera had a momentary glitch, went out came back on minus the guide lines. what can I do. Camera still works.
I have a 2016 F250 Super Duty with a back up camera problem. It's more prevalent when raining, but is now happening ore often in dry weather. Not sure what the deal is with it. Any suggestions?
