Roush Ranger Performance Pacs Deliver Impressive Performance Gains

Those wanting to add a little power to their 2019 and up Ford Ranger have a few options available, including some from Ford itself. Roush Performance also offers two levels of performance packages for the Ranger, in addition to a host of suspension and appearance upgrades that were just introduced back in August. Even better, these two Roush Ranger Performance Pacs deliver impressive performance gains with simple upgrades.

Interestingly enough, the Roush Ranger Performance Pacs are slightly different as one might expect, yet they deliver the same exact power gain. Both the Level 1 and Level 2 packages boost the Ranger’s 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 by 47 horsepower and 65 pound-feet of torque, which results in an output of 317 horsepower and 375 pound-feet of torque.

The only difference between the two Performance Pacs is the fact that the Level 2 package comes with Roush’s cat-back exhaust system, which gives the truck a more aggressive sound. Both packages fit both two- and four-wheel drive 2019-2020 Ford Rangers equipped with Ford’s 2.3L EcoBoost I-4.

To unleash that extra power, Roush designed a larger intake tube and fitted it with a larger oil-less high-flow performance air filter to improve airflow. The filter is housed in a CAD-engineered transparent lid with Roush badging.

Roush then developed its own high-performance calibration, which is flashed using the tuner’s RDT software, and optimizes throttle and boost mapping, increases horsepower and torque, and improves throttle response throughout the RPM range.

Both Roush Ranger Performance Pacs are also 50-state emissions legal and are backed by a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty. The Level 1 package features an MSRP of $935, while the Level 2 kit costs $1,830.
