After hitting the ignition button, the next thing most drivers reach for is the stereo. There are a number of unique audio systems out there, even for a crossover like the 2025 Ford Escape. Below, Ford Authority outlines all the available audio systems for the 2025 Escape, from its standard setup to extra-cost upgrades that enhance the in-cabin audio experience.
The most basic audio setup available on the 2025 Ford Escape is the six-speaker audio system. This system is standard on the entry level Active trim. Interestingly, it's also standard fare on the sportier ST-Line trims, too, including ST-Line, ST-Line Select, and ST-Line Elite, along with Platinum and PHEV. This sound system pipes AM/FM radio and includes speed-compensated volume, while steering-wheel mounted controls enable drivers to change the volume, station, or song without letting go of the wheel.
Available as part of optional packages, the 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen (B&O) Sound System offers an upgrade over the standard six-speaker audio system in the 2025 Ford Escape. It's bundled into the Active Premium Tech Pack for the Active trim, which is priced at $4,370, while it can be added to the ST-Line Select trim via Tech Pack No. 2, priced at $3,700.
The ST-Line Elite and Platinum trims gain the B&O sound system by opting for the $1,910 Premium Technology Package. Finally, the upgraded sound setup is also available on the 2025 Ford Escape Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) as part of the PHEV Premium Package, which is priced at $4,530.
As a reminder, the entry level 2025 Ford Escape Active FWD starts at $30,590 excluding destination freight charges, while opting for the AWD variant bumps the price to $31,990. That relatively affordable price gets the turbocharged 1.5L EcoBoost I3 engine, good for 181 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque. Ford Co-Pilot360 is standard, bundling automatic high beam headlamps, lane keep assist features, a rearview camera, and other standard safety features.
Production began in September 2024, as reported by Ford Authority, at the Louisville Assembly plant in Kentucky.
