The Lincoln Continental Coach Door Edition debuted back in the 2019 model year as a way to celebrate the brand’s 80th anniversary – which is why 80 units were built in total. However, FoMoCo underestimated demand for the $110k ride, prompting the automaker to continue production into the 2020 model year, and ultimately build 230 total units of the Lincoln Coach Door Edition. Despite its low production total, we see plenty of these special sedans pop up for sale on a regular basis, and that now includes this 2019 model as well.

This 2019 Lincoln Continental Coach Door Edition is up for auction over at Bring a Trailer with just 10k miles on the clock, and it remains in excellent condition with perfect Infinite Black Metallic paint. It rolls on a set of fifteen-spoke 20-inch wheels wrapped with Goodyear Eagle tires, and features a wheelbase that’s been stretched six inches to provide copious amounts of interior space.

Inside, that translates to some serious rear legroom, specifically, surrounded by loads of luxuries including heated, ventilated, massaging, and 30-way power-adjustable front seats trimmed in Alpine Venetian leather, along with heated, ventilated, massaging, and power-adjustable seats in the rear. Rear seat passengers also get their own climate and audio controls, power sunshades, fold-out tray tables, wireless device charging, and a bottle holder.

Power comes from the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 EcoBoost engine, which was originally rated to send 400 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission, and the Coach Door Edition rolls on an adaptive suspension, to boot.

This is just one of several Continental Coach Door Edition models that we’ve seen pop up for auction over the years, each attracting its fair share of attention and bids. That list includes another 2019 model with 31k miles, as well as a 2020 with 13k miles.
