Ford Credit Offers Relief To Wisconsin Customers Impacted By Severe Weather

If there’s one thing we’ve come to count on, it’s the fact that Ford Credit and Lincoln Automotive Financial Services will be among the first to spring into action and help those in need following any kind of natural disaster imaginable, whether that be a hurricane, tornado, fire, flood, or anything else that can cause serious hardships for its customers. We’ve seen this time and time again in the wake of those types of devastating experiences, and now, Ford Credit and its Lincoln counterpart are delivering payment relief to customers in Wisconsin, too.

Certain parts of Wisconsin were just hit with severe storms this month, causing major flooding and mudslides in some areas, damaging roads, infrastructure, homes, and of course, vehicles. State and federal officials completed an assessment and determined that $26.5 million in disaster costs were needed across six counties, which are now being doled out so that local governments and residents can recover as quickly as possible.

As for Ford Credit and Lincoln Automotive Financial Services, those entities are offering payment extensions of up to 60 days for customers who live in counties eligible for FEMA’s Individuals and Households Program – currently, that consists of Milwaukee County and Washington County. It’s worth noting that interest may continue to accrue on deferred payments, but for those that need the cash for recovery purposes right now, it could provide some welcome relief.

Those interested in taking advantage of this offer can request a payment extension by visiting www.ford.com/finance, via the Ford Credit app, or by calling 1-800-723-4016. Lease customers must call that number to request a payment extension, however.

This is just the latest example of Ford Credit and its Lincoln counterpart springing into action to help those impacted by natural disasters this year alone. That list includes customers in New Mexico that experienced severe storms, flooding, and landslides, severe flooding in Kentucky and West Virginia, and severe storms and tornadoes that impacted parts of Arkansas.
