Ford Ranger Discount Takes Up To $2,500 Off In May 2020

Ford Motor Company is offering several attractive Ford Ranger discount offers in May, with the most noteworthy one being $2,500 off select models. However, interested parties should know that the headlining discount is not available nationwide, and is only offered in select regions.

Additionally, the aforementioned cashback rebate is part of a combined offer that also includes low-interest financing. Meanwhile, a separate offer gives shoppers the chance to take advantage of interest-free financing for both 2019 and 2020 models, though for varying terms.

Ford Ranger Discount Offers

Ford Ranger discount offers vary by region in May 2020. Below, we list the heftiest discounts in four major U.S. markets:

• New York City:
  • 2019 Ranger: buyers can choose between two offers:
    • 0 percent APR for 84 months, or
    • $1,250 cashback rebate
  • 2020 Ranger: buyers can choose between two offers:
    • 0 percent APR for 72 months, or
    • $1,000 cashback rebate
• Detroit:
  • 2019 Ranger: buyers can choose between two offers:
    • 0 percent APR for 84 months, or
    • $1,250 cashback rebate
  • 2020 Ranger: buyers can choose between two offers:
    • 0 percent APR for 72 months, or
    • $1,000 cashback rebate
• Miami
  • 2019 Ranger: buyers can choose between two offers:
    • 0 percent APR for 84 months, or
    • $1,250 cashback rebate
  • 2020 Ranger: buyers can choose between two offers:
    • 0 percent APR for 72 months, or
    • $1,000 cashback rebate
• Los Angeles:
  • 2019 Ranger: buyers can choose between two offers:
    • 0 percent APR for 84 months, or
    • $1,250 cashback rebate
  • 2020 Ranger: buyers can choose between three offers:
    • 2.9 percent APR for 60 months + $2,500, or
      • Includes $1,000 Conquest Cash, which requires buyer to be owner of non-Ford/Mercury/Lincoln vehicle for at least 30 days prior to purchase
    • 0 percent APR for 72 months, or
    • $1,000 cashback rebate

All of the above Ford Ranger discount offers will expire after June 1^st, 2020. Shoppers should also note that the discounts are model year specific, with 2020 Ranger models getting one set of discounts that are different from those offered on the 2019 Ranger.

In addition, some incentives are also available only on vehicles that have arrived at the dealer at least 61 days prior to the sale date, while other offers require a trade-in. As such, we recommend visiting your preferred Ford dealer for specific details.

Prospective buyers may like to know that this month’s featured offer is less generous compared to incentives offered earlier in the 2020 calendar year, such as the combo offer in January, the $3,750 offer in March and the $4,250 offer in April.

It’s also worth noting that prior to February, most of the manufacturer incentives for the Ranger midsize pickup topped out at $1,000. This was the case in September and again in November. That’s no coincidence, given that Ford Ranger sales are quite hot, as the truck jumped to become the second best-selling model in its segment during the final quarter of 2019.
