Watch The Official 2021 Ford Bronco Celebration Right Here: Video

If it feels like we’ve been waiting forever for the Ford Bronco to return, well, that’s because we have. More specifically, almost exactly 25 years have passed since the last fifth-gen Bronco rolled off the assembly line at the Ford Michigan Assembly Plant. Now, however, production of the all-new 2021 Bronco has officially begun, and FoMoCo is marking the occasion with a special 2021 Ford Bronco celebration, which can be viewed below.

To say that the new Ford Bronco is a big deal is a massive understatement, as enthusiasts have been clamoring for the rugged SUV’s return for over two decades. In recent years, interest in vintage Bronco models has skyrocketed, right along with prices. Thus, it’s no surprise that Ford has secured over 190,000 reservations for the new Bronco – 125,000 of which have been converted into orders.

After a pair of delays due to supply chain issues, deliveries of the new Bronco are set to begin in the summer, as expected. However, not everyone with an order will be taking delivery any time soon. As Ford Authority recently reported, only a handful of lucky order holders have received scheduled for production emails, while others received communication informing them that Ford isn’t sure when it will be able to fulfill their order.

This is because the automaker is struggling to secure molded-in color hardtops from its supplier, a popular option among order holders. In addition, it has received higher-than-expected demand for Badlands and Wildtrak trimmed Broncos, the Sasquatch and Tow Packages, and the 2.7L EcoBoost V6.

While it may be hard for folks waiting on those items to stay positive, the fact that Broncos are once again rolling off the assembly line is certainly a good reason to be. So be sure and check out the 2021 Ford Bronco celebration here, and be a part of automotive history in the making.

  3. If I could go back in time to before April 8 I would seriously consider changing my order to accept the vehicle delivered with only the soft top with the hardtop TBD, whenever. My engine choice (V6) might still put me a year out. It will be a shame if any Broncos are built for regular retail sale that are not of the 125,000 pre-ordered
