The 2022 Ford Mustang adds seven new colors to the lineup: Atlas Blue, Brittany Blue, Cyber Orange, Dark Matter Gray, Eruption Green, Mischievous Purple Metallic, and Grabber Blue Metallic, along with the optional Ice White Edition Appearance Package, Stealth Edition Appearance Package, a revised California Special package, and the Coastal Limited Edition package. Here’s our first real-world look at the 2022 Ford Mustang Coastal Limited Edition package.

The 2022 Ford Mustang Coastal Limited Edition Package is available on EcoBoost Premium convertible and fastback models. The package can be paired with three colors – Rapid Red, Cyber Orange, and Brittany Blue, though this example is finished in the latter hue.

The 2022 Mustang Coastal Limited Edition package contains unique vinyl stripes that begin at the hood and continue along the beltline before stopping at the rear quarter panels, along with a black front grille.

Moving down the side, this optional package pairs the pony car with a set of 19-inch Tarnished Black machined-face aluminum wheels, along with signature Mustang rear-fender side scoops.

In the rear, the Coastal Limited Edition package adds a pedestal rear spoiler. Inside the cabin, this optional package includes Coastal Limited badging on the instrument panel, as well as a lighted sill plate. The 2022 Mustang Coastal Limited Edition package retails for $1,995 and is available to order now with deliveries expected to begin this spring.

As Ford Authority previously reported, 2022 Ford Mustang production began at the Ford Flat Rock Assembly Plant on January 3rd, 2022, though production recently paused amid the chip shortage. Aside from the aforementioned changes, the 2022 Mustang GT and Mach 1 will also be taking a 10 horsepower and 10 pound-feet of torque hit to their respective outputs, as Ford Authority exclusively reported back in October.

We’ll have more on the 2022 Mustang soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Mustang news and ongoing Ford news coverage.
