Ford Chile sales increased nine percent to 1,192 units in October 2023. The figures place Ford as the seventh country’s best-selling automobile brand during the month, behind Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Suzuki and Peugeot.
Chilean auto sales figures are limited since reporting only shows the best-selling models in each segment. As such, no sales data is available for vehicles that sell in lower volumes. Nevertheless, individual Ford model sales performance (for models for which sales data is available) was as follows:
In addition to the models specified, Ford also markets the following vehicles in Chile:
During the first 10 months of the 2023 calendar year, Ford Chile sales decreased 3.28 percent to 10,707 units.

After suffering a setback and falling 25 percent in September, Ford Chile sales recovered and increased healthily again in October. However, last month’s record once again marks a new inter-monthly volume reduction, going from 1,541 in August, to 1,244 in September and 1,192 in October.
Ford Chile’s improvement of exactly 100 units in October was supported by the solid performance of the Ford F-Series, with the line of full-size pickups leading sales in its category for the second consecutive month in the Chilean market. Heavy-duty trucks also had figures in the green, but with minimal volume.
In contrast, the best-selling Ford Ranger again suffered a notable drop last month that reduced its volume and caused it to lose the momentum of previous months. The mid-size pickup is transitioning in the Chilean market from the previous generation to the completely redesigned model.
Sales increased 0.7 percent to 26,527 units during the first six months of 2025.
