The healthy increase in Ford Brazil sales in December 2023 represents the eleventh consecutive month of growth for the brand in the South American country, which expands FoMoCo’s extremely solid streak in the Brazilian market. This upward trajectory is no doubt due to Ford’s most recent launches, which include the all-new Ranger and Territory.
The all-new Ford Ranger is mainly responsible for Ford Brazil’s double-digit increase in December, as well as in the previous months throughout 2023. The midsize pickup positive an incredibly promising result of almost 2,500 units for December, which tracks well with growth both year-on-year and with respect to November volume. However, the Ranger fell to third place in its segment after being supplanted by the Chevy S10 – which usually occupies that position.
Additionally, the Ford Territory, Bronco Sport, and Maverick also contributed to the brand’s success in December. Unfortunately, the Ford Transit continued its losing streak in Brazil, despite efforts by the automaker to make it more appealing to commercial buyers.
Enabling it to gain market share, too.
This is no wagon turned SHO, either.

Sales increased 6.6 percent to 1,492,905 units during the first eight months of 2025.
