Ford F-250 Super Duty Among Top Vehicles In Operation

Given the fact that the Ford Super Duty represents one-half of America’s best-selling model, the Ford F-Series, it never really comes as a surprise to learn that it’s also one of the most popular used or new vehicles of any kind. Coupled with the fact that the Ford F-250 Super Duty, specifically, was recently recognized by iSeeCars as one of the most likely vehicles on the road that’ll last beyond the 250k mile mark, one could rightfully assume that there are tons of those pickups on U.S. roads right now – a fact confirmed by Experian’s Q4 2023 Automotive Market Trends report.

The Ford F-250 Super Duty made the cut on this particular list by accounting for one percent of all automotive models on the road at the conclusion of 2023, which is higher than a number of models including the Toyota Highlander, Nissan Rogue, Ford Fusion, Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Malibu, Chevy Silverado 2500HD, Toyota Tundra, and Subaru Outback.

The Ford F-250 Super Duty also wasn’t the only Blue Oval product to make this particular list, either. In fact, its F-Series stablemate, the Ford F-150, topped every other model by accounting for 3.7 percent of all vehicles on the road, and was joined by the Ford Escape at 1.3 percent, the Ford Explorer at 1.2 percent, and the Ford Fusion at 0.8 percent. Ultimately, this news comes as no surprise given the fact that the Ford F-Series lineup – as a whole – retained its crown as the best-selling truck in the U.S. for 47 years in 2023, continuing one of the most impressive streaks in automotive history, and precisely why we see so many of those models on our roads to this very day, too.

We’ll have more on the Super Duty soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford F-Series news, Ford Super Duty news, and comprehensive Ford news coverage.
