As part of its mid-cycle refresh, the 2025 Ford Maverick Lobo was added to the compact pickup’s lineup as a new, sporty version of that model. The Maverick Lobo gets its name from the Mexican Ford F-150, which has been referred to as the Lobo in that market for some time now, a term that’s Spanish for “wolf.” However, we’ve known for a while that a Lobo variant of the American F-150 itself was also in the works, dating back to a trademark filing from the automaker in 2023, too. Now, Ford Authority has spotted the all-new 2026 Ford F-150 Lobo completely undisguised for the very first time.

Ford Authority spotted a pair of 2026 Ford F-150 Lobo prototypes out testing last month, though those models were covered in camo. That’s not the case here, as we’re getting our best look yet at the new, sporty pickup, which features a host of unique exterior styling elements. Those start up front with a brand new front fascia featuring a unique grille and bumper design with a large air intake built right in, fog lights, as well as a light bar that spans the headlights with four LEDs. On top of that, the hood features a pair of heat extracting vents, to boot, though it’s unclear if they’re functional or not.

Moving down the side, we get a good look at the F-150 Lobo’s body kit, which consists of side sills/ground effects from this angle, giving the pickup a lower-to-the-ground, sporty stance. This prototype is rolling on a set of 22-inch six-spoke gloss black wheels wrapped with AS02 275/50R22 Bridgestone Alenza tires – a combination we haven’t yet seen on the popular pickup, in general.

Moving to the rear, we get a good look at more ground effects integrated into the bumper, along with dual exhaust tips. Interestingly, The Blue Oval didn’t even try to conceal the fact that we’re looking at the 2026 Ford F-150 Lobo either – rather, there’s clearly a “Lobo” stamping on the fender vents, in fact. All of this signals that we’re pretty close to the actual debut of the new, sporty F-150 Lobo, giving fans of that sort of treatment a new option to consider.
