Most modern vehicles are being fitted with touchscreens, turning dashboards into mini computerized command centers. Some Blue Oval models, like the 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning, offer a selection of different sizes, depending on trim level. However, its gasoline-burning cousin, the 2025 Ford F-150, bucks the status quo, only offering one touchscreen regardless of package and trim level.
Every 2025 Ford F-150 trim features a 12-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with swipe capability. The system runs Sync 4 software, supporting wireless phone connection by way of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cloud connectivity, AppLink, Conversational Voice Command Recognition, and a digital owner’s manual.
Said 12-inch touchscreen is a carryover from the 2024 F-150, which also featured just one option with the same capabilities. Initially, the2024 F-150 – which represented a midcycle refresh for the pickup – was expected to offer a new vertical screen, as seen on prototypes that were undergoing testing. However, said screen has yet to make an appearance in the production F-150 line.
Hot off said midcycle refresh for the 2024 model year, the 2025 Ford F-150 does not receive any major changes, although there were some updates on the docket: it deleted the factory-installed SecuriCode keypad, though it’s still available as a dealer-installed option. The 2025 Ford F-150 also no longer features Connected Navigation feature as standard on the XL and STX trims, which was previously standard across the 2024 F-150 lineup.
The pickup also loses a pair of exterior color options: Avalanche and Darkened Bronze Metallic. The Heritage Edition Package has run its course and is no more, although the pickup does gain a notable new variant known as Lobo, a street-ready version of the 2025 Ford F-150.
The 2025 Ford F-150 is a bit more expensive than its 2024 model year counterpart, and the prices just keep rising. The entire lineup received a modest $100 price increase across the board just a few months ago, elevating the starting price to $38,810 for the entry level XL trim, excluding destination freight charges.

Nice article. But enough of the unnecessary overuse of the word said. It makes it sound like legalese police mumbo jumbo. The word the could have sufficed, or is it just me?
