Late last year, The Blue Oval revealed the 2025 Ford Super Duty, debuting several important updates that are a bit shocking, considering that the heavy duty hauler received a notable redesign for the 2023 model year. However, the interior is mostly untouched compared to its 2024 model year counterpart, and the 2025 Super Duty continues on with the same two touchscreens as its predecessor.
As part of the Sync 4 bundle that’s standard on all trims, the 2025 Ford Super Duty gets one of two touch screens – although the availability of said displays depends on trim level. The standard outfit is the eight-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with swipe capability, running Sync 4 software. It also runs Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, depending on the user’s smartphone type, along with the AppLink app catalog, 911 Assist, and allows access to a digital owner’s manual for the Super Duty. That eight-inch display is standard on XL and XLT models.
Meanwhile, all trims Lariat and up get a larger screen at their disposal. That means the 12-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen, also featuring swipe capability, is standard on the 2025 Ford Super Duty Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum. This screen is bundled into the Sync 4 package, which includes enhanced voice recognition, showing an information on demand panel, cloud connectivity, AppLink, and a digital owner’s manual. This setup also supports Connected Navigation features and Conversational Voice Command Recognition.
As a reminder, the 2025 Super Duty Platinum was treated a bit of its own refresh that included the addition of the Platinum Plus package, along with a handful of other tweaks. Ford also changed up 2025 Ford Super Duty engine availability: the gas 6.8L V8 is now standard equipment on the XL, XLT, and Lariat trims, while the gas 7.3L V8 is standard on the King Ranch and Platinum. Despite of of those changes, pricing for the heavy duty pickup remained largely the same.
Looking ahead, details regarding the 2026 Ford Super Duty have been steadily trickling in. As reported by Ford Authority, the pickup is receiving changes to its Connectivity Package options, pertaining to said bundles’ subscription options.

Touchscreens should be band from vehicles. Just like phones, you have to take your eyes off the road to use them.
