As it continues to work to convince consumers that all-electric vehicles are superior alternatives to ICE-powered ones, Ford isn’t just rolling out new and updated EV models on a regular basis – rather, it’s also using marketing as a way to spread the proverbial gospel. Aside from various ad campaigns centered around electrification and its benefits, Ford also hosts unique events that are focused on zero-emissions vehicle as well. Now, the latest comes to us via a pretty interesting EV road trip with Sin City as its final destination.
That road trip is officially known as the Zero Run, which Ford is the official sponsor of for 2025. The event takes place over the course of two days – October 10th and 11th – kicking off in the Los Angeles area and making its way to Las Vegas, Nevada, with plenty of fun activities planned for along the way. Participants will meet up in the morning, get checked in, and then start their drive, with an optional group activity taking place Friday night in the form of a comedy show.
The next day, on Saturday, attendees will meet up and cruise to a place where there will be photo ops, and after that’s over, they’ll be able to head to dinner together at the Texas de Brazil steakhouse, if they choose. There are also some other fun activities planned for the weekend, too. The cost of admission is $75 (not including the costs of the dinner and comedy show), and participants get a pair of door decals and a t-shirt. Those that wish to sign up for the Zero Run Las Vegas can do so by heading over here.
In adding to sponsoring Zero Run, Ford was also recently named as the official electric vehicle supplier for the TCS London Marathon, which means that a number of Blue Oval EVs will be used across the event’s route, starting with the lead timing vehicle all the way back to support vehicles at the tail end of the race. The fleet will include a host of Ford EVs including the Explorer, Capri, E-Tourneo Custom, Mustang Mach-E, and Transit.
Enabling it to gain market share, too.
This is no wagon turned SHO, either.
A simple but potentially useful idea.
Sales increased 6.6 percent to 1,492,905 units during the first eight months of 2025.
It was encouraged by Ford's future EV plans.
