U.S. Ford Motor Company Sales Up Eight Percent In Q3 2025

Ford Motor Company sales increased eight percent to 545,522 units during third quarter of 2025 in the United States. Sales increased at Ford and decreased at Lincoln.

“This quarter’s growth showcases our portfolio’s unmatched flexibility and breadth,” said President at Ford Blue and Model e, Andrew Frick. “We saw strong performance in gas, hybrid, and electrified powertrains, while at the same time growing our paid software solutions, all embedded in vehicles such as Expedition, Explorer and F-150,” he added.

FoMoCo Sales Notes – U.S. Q3 2025

  • Total Ford Motor Company sales during third quarter of 2025 increased 8.2 percent to 545,522 units
    • Truck sales increased 7.4 percent to 313,654 units
    • SUV sales increased 9.7 percent to 222,601 units
    • Car sales increased 2.5 percent to 9,267 units
    • Electric vehicle sales totaled 30,612 units, up 30.2 percent
    • Hybrid vehicle sales totaled 55,177 units, up 14.7 percent
    • Internal combustion sales totaled 459,733 units, up 6.3 percent
  • FoMoCo Q3 market share surges on truck, electrified, SUV strength
  • F-Series sold 207,732 vehicles and sales up 7 percent in Q3 (including the Lightning), bringing the 2025 total to 620,580 trucks outselling its nearest competitor by an estimated 170,000 trucks
    • Total volume includes 197,727 units of the combustion and hybrid F-Series lineup, along with 10,005 units of the F-150 Lightning in Q3
    • F-Series on pace for 49 straight years as America’s best-selling truck
  • Ford sold a record 85,789 electrified vehicles (hybrid, PHEV, BEV) in the third quarter, up 19.8 percent
    • Electrified vehicles represented 15.7 percent of Ford’s Q3 sales, up from 13.5 percent in Q2

During the first nine months of the 2025 calendar year, Ford Motor Company sales increased 7.2 percent to 1,658,908 units.
