Powertrain
The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport is offered with a choice of two powertrains, depending on trim level. This includes the turbocharged 1.5L EcoBoost I4, rated at 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque, which is standard on Big Bend, Heritage, Free Wheeling, and Outer Banks trim. The turbocharged 2.0L EcoBoost I4 is rated at 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque and is standard on the range-topping Badlands trim. Both engines are mated to the eight-speed automatic transmission.
