As we reported earlier this year (and as recently confirmed by Ford), the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 and GT350R are being discontinued after the 2020 model year, as the models have effectively been replaced by the newest Mach 1. Some are already viewing this generation of the GT350 as a future collectible, and as such, Ford Performance has launched a new GT350 Certificate of Authenticity package.

Ford Performance released similar packages for the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor and the 2016 and 2017 Ford Focus RS earlier this year, which are available on the Ford Show Parts website. Now, owners of any 2015-2019 Shelby GT350 or GT350R can now get a full Ford Performance GT350 Certificate of Authenticity Package, which includes a variety of goodies.

Those goodies consist of an official Ford Performance certificate of authenticity, VIN decoder, production summary chart, poster, tri-fold brochure, certificate sleeve, track tips, window sticker, “disc brake rotor & caliper” business card holder, and a Cobra logo keychain.

This special package contains many of the same items that were included in the Owners Supplement kit that came with the GT350 when it was originally sold. However, Ford Performance has said that the availability of these packages is limited. The documents and images in the package may also vary slightly due to year-to-year changes, but include period correct documentation and imagery.

Those that want to protect the items in their GT350 Certificate of Authenticity package can also add on a gloss black, rounded metal certificate frame to their purchase. The cost of the package is $129.95, and it can be purchased by heading over here. And for those that don’t currently own a GT350, here’s a reminder that now might be a good time to purchase a used one at a discount.

We’ll have more on the GT350 very soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Mustang news, Shelby GT350 news, and ongoing Ford news coverage.

  • I would love to find a supplement package, that comes with a new Shelby GT 350, when purchased new. I purchased my 2019 with 2400 miles on it and was 2nd owner. I asked the dealer if he would try to get this package from the 1st owner but no luck. Can someone lead me in a direction that may help me purchase a package like this?
