For some time, the future of the Lincoln Nautilus seemed to be in doubt, given the fact that Ford Edge and Lincoln Nautilus production is set to end at the Oakville Assembly plant in Canada in early 2024 to make room for all-electric versions of the Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator. Meanwhile, the all-new Nautilus leaked in China recently, showing off revised exterior and interior styling, along with a rather large screen adorning the full width of the dash. Then, out of nowhere, the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus was teased late last week, confirming that the luxurious crossover would in fact continue to be sold in North America. Now, that same model has made its official debut.
Unlike many recently-launched Blue Oval models in China, the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus does in fact share a very similar exterior design to that particular model, with highlights including slim LED headlights, a full-width LED light bar, and a “3D” front grille design, along with optional H2 pixel headlamps and an illuminated Star logo. However, the completely overhauled interior is the real story here, as it’s a far cry from the current model – as well as a peek at the future of Lincoln interiors in general.
Designed to appeal to younger customers, the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus cabin features extensive use of ambient lighting, a new “Lincoln Embrace” design for the center of the new display, a flat-top steering wheel, and Lincoln Rejuvenate, which gives users the ability to set all of their personal preferences, ranging from seating position and massage functions to visuals and lighting. On top of all that, users can also select one of three digital scents for the interior – Mystic Forest, Ozonic Azure, and Violet Cashmere.
Screens dominate the cabin, including an 11.1-inch center touchscreen and the aforementioned coast-to-coast unit, though tech takes a front seat as well with the addition of BlueCruise 1.2 (which has traditionally been branded as ActiveGlide for Lincoln models, though referred to as BlueCruise in the press materials), along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, over-the-air software updates, and 5G network capability.
In terms of powertrains, 2024 Lincoln Nautilus customers have two options – the turbocharged Ford 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost engine generating a targeted 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive, or a hybrid version that combines the same engine with a 100 kW electric motor for a targeted combined output of 310 horsepower, flowing to the wheels via a CVT gearbox. Meanwhile, an adaptive suspension utilizes sensors to provide the best possible ride quality across all kinds of surfaces.
The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus is available in four signature exterior colors – Red Carpet, Diamond Red, Chroma Caviar, and Blue Panther, along with three new interior themes – Black Onyx and Medium Space Gray, Smoked Truffle, and Black Onyx and Allura Blue. The Jet Appearance Package is available as an option and adds two-tone paint, available 22-inch gloss black wheels, and a host of anodized black accents.
The all-new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus will be built at the Changan Ford Hangzhou Assembly plant in China and is scheduled to launch in North America in early 2024, though the brand new luxury crossover is available to order now.

Nationwide lease and cash back on the off-roading SUV.
How far it's come since the early days.
Though it has 650 supercharged horsepower.
And the potential weakening of emissions rules.
That site is going to grow yet again very soon.
It could make U.S. automakers 'immune' to tariffs.

I can see it now- the uproar surrounding the fact it will be built in China. Still, that's a sharp looking Lincoln!
Exterior wise it looks GREAT! Very sharp. However, not a fan of the interior. I can't imagine the Nautilus' customers in the States being young and tech savvy enough to appreciate that coast to coast screen.
It's really beautiful. But if Ford is only going to build these in China for the U.S. market, they can shove it.
I love it. I would even want it. But I could never buy a vehicle built in China.
Why not? You buy iPhones built in China.
iPhones aren't a $50K item! Big difference. My wife and I have iPhones but we have an American luxury car (Lincoln MKZ), American sports car (Corvette), American truck (Maverick Lariat AWD) and American motorcycle (Harley-Davidson).
Robert Arthur, I otherwise agree with your sentiments on this issue, but I believe your MkZ was built in Mexico. I know for sure your Maverick was. My apologies in advance if I missed your sarcasm.
Bill, the thing is his Maverick and MKZ were not built in china. while its better to be US built, its practically criminal for ford to be funneling money into the economy of a country thats an undeclared enemy to the US. Also, what happens when tensions with china continue to worsen as is surely to happen and parts for that car can only be obtained from china? think of the supply chain issues caused by the pandemic, which china also started. I would imagine obtaining parts for a complex consumer product, such as a car could be very difficult in the future, with china.
Love my Canadian assembled 2019 Nautilus. I also have a 2012 Mustang GT with the Chinese MT-82 manual transmission. That alone would deter me from considering another Nautilus.
because its not a far stretch to consider there is a good chance we will be at some state of military conflict with china this decade as they are a power hungry, authoritarian state. So for me, I will not have my hard earned dollars going into a country whose bent on America's destruction. But to have a Lincoln, of all brands, have one of their cars built in an enemy country for sale in the US is disgraceful. Buick has been trying to peddle that Envision suv under similar circumstances and there has also been a lot of resistance in the American market for a chinese Buick. In other words, the fact they make it in china for the US market, is making it hard to sell here and diminishing their brand reputation even further. I would have thought Ford would have witnessed that and learned something. but apparently not. but with Ford, this makes you wonder about them. Last month they partner with chinese company to build a battery plant. why can't they choose a company from an non enemy country? why do they have to choose a chinese company? now this car is going to be made in china? Not sure if I will continue to buy Ford products any longer if this is what they are doing
Made in China you can keep it had enough of theirs crap.
Amen
Love the redesign...just wish it made in USA....should sell good....i would hope they offer a non turbo v6 in these.....i pay extra for that....i owned Ecoboost engines.....to troublesome...and complex to be reliable....and Ford needs to rethink there engines....one thing they did do good was the new 7.3 Gas Pushrod engine for the F 250 and larger trucks...it has no direct injection and no cylinder deactivation....simple...
I LOVE IT! Way to go Lincoln, as a 32 year old I’m definitely considering this! If you like the classic Lincoln’s or the more conservative style that’s fine too but let us younger buyer’s at least have one vehicle in Lincoln’s lineup that we can identify with. I think that’s fair.
The Chinese Edge has the much better looking interior (but a weird exterior design with the cranked C-pillar). Wish the Nautilus had the Edge's interior.
Another one of Failure Farley's brilliant ideas, follow Mary Barra's lead and bring another Chinese-made product to America. Unlike, Buick owners, hopefully, nobody will buy this product.
