Ford Chile sales increased 29 percent to 1,312 units in May 2025. The figures place Ford as the seventh country’s best-selling automobile brand during the month, behind Suzuki, Toyota, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Kia, and Peugeot.
Chilean auto sales figures are limited since reporting only shows the best-selling models in each segment. As such, no sales data is available for vehicles that sell in lower volumes. Nevertheless, individual Ford model sales performance (for models for which sales data is available) was as follows:
- Ford F-Series sales increased 141.3 percent to 222 units
- Ford Heavy Trucks sales totaled 1 units
- Ford Maverick sales totaled 73 units
- Ford Ranger sales increased 13.96 percent to 400 units
- Ford Territory sales increased 22.08 percent to 282 units
- Ford Transit sales increased 55.67 percent to 151 units

During the first five months of the 2025 calendar year, Ford Chile sales increased 16 percent to 6,470 units.

The Ford Authority Take
Ford Chile sales remained strong and recorded healthy growth during the month of May, marking the ninth consecutive monthly increase for the Blue Oval brand in the South American country. However, the Ford’s 1,312 deliveries represent a month-over-month loss in volume, below the 1,536 units sold in April.
In May, all Ford Chile models listed achieved sales increases compared to the same month last year. This strong performance includes the best-selling Ford Ranger, which had suffered a decline the previous month, consolidating its position as the brand’s most popular nameplate among Chilean customers.
Furthermore, the Ford F-150 registered the highest growth rate among all the brand’s models in May and cemented its position as the best-selling full-size pickup in Chile. In fact, the truck has accumulated two consecutive months of monthly growth. The Transit followed with the second-best growth rate and leads this ranking in the year-to-date total.
