2025 Ford F-150 Packages: Everything You Need To Know

The 2025 Ford F-150 offers quite a few optional and standard packages. Ford Authority outlines them in the following guide, explaining their pricing, content, and how to get each one.

It’s important to note that availability depends on trim level. The 2025 F-150 is offered in XL, STX, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Tremor, and Raptor trims. Now, let’s explore the 2025 Ford F-150 packages.

STX Black Appearance Package

The STX Black Appearance Package (option code 191) is an optional extra on the 2025 F-150 STX, where it costs $1,585. This package includes the following content:

  • 20-inch Gloss Black Wheels
  • 6-inch Black Running Boards
  • Body-color front and rear bumpers
  • Black bar-style grille with gloss black surround
  • Box Side Decal – Black (4Ă—4 only)

XLT Black Appearance Package

The F-150 XLT gets its own version of the Black Appearance Package (option code 193). Notably, this package cannot be added to models featuring the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 with the 4X2 drivetrain, and it’s not available in conjunction with the XLT Black Appearance Package Plus. It must be added to Supercrew models featuring the 145-inch wheelbase. Content is as follows:

  • 18-inch Gloss black wheels
  • 6-inch Black Running Boards
  • Body-color front and rear bumpers
  • Box Side Decal – Gray (4Ă—4 and FX4 Off-Road Package only)
  • Black exterior badging
  • Floor Shifter
  • Grille – Black
  • Dark interior appliques

XLT Black Appearance Package Plus

The XLT Black Appearance Package Plus (option code 19P) builds on the aforementioned Black Appearance Package, but includes even more features. It’s also unavailable on models featuring the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 4X2. This package includes the following:

  • 20-inch Gloss black painted aluminum wheel
  • 6-inch Black Running Boards
  • Body-color front and rear bumpers
  • Box Side Decal – Gray (4Ă—4 and FX4 Off-Road Package only)
  • Black exterior badging
  • Floor Shifter
  • Grille – Black
  • Dual Exhaust w/ Black tips
  • Dark interior appliques
  • ActiveX Seating Material (303A only)

Lariat Black Appearance Package

The 2025 F-150 Lariat gets the Lariat Black Appearance Package (option code 195), which requires the 145-inch wheelbase to be equipped. Note that different equipment groups get additional content on top of what’s included in the package offered for the standard 500A equipment group:

Finally, the following equipment is optional for models featuring the 3.5L PowerBoost V6 hybrid engine, plus equipment group 502A:

  • 22-inch Gloss Black Wheel

FX4 Off-Road Package

Optional on the 2025 Ford F-150 XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trims, the FX4 Off-Road Package (option code 55A) bundles the following upgrades for $1,095:

  • 3.31 Electronic-locking rear-axle with 5.0L V8 engine or 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine
  • 3.55 Electronic-locking rear-axle with 2.7L V6 EcoBoost
  • 4Ă—4 “FX4 Off-Road” bodyside decal
  • Floor Liner – Tray Style (less Carpeted Matching Floor Mats
    • Included only when carpet is present with XL, XLT, and Lariat
  • Floor Liner – Tray Style
    • Included with King Ranch® and Platinum
  • Hill Descent Control
  • Off-Road tuned front shock absorbers
  • Monotube Rear Shocks
  • Rock Crawl Mode
  • Skid plates: fuel tank, transfer case, and front differential

The FX4 Off-Road Package also offers a selection of optional equipment that is not included in the main package. This is as follows:

  • 3.55 Electronic-locking rear-axle
    • Requires 3.5L V6 EcoBoost
  • 3.73 Electronic-locking rear-axle
    • Requires 5.0L V8 engine or 2.7L V6 EcoBoost
  • LT265/70R17C BSW all-terrain tires
    • Fleet only
  • LT265/70R18C BSW all-terrain tires

Tow/Haul Package

The Tow/Haul Package (option code 53T) is optional on the F-150 XL, STX, XLT, Lariat, and Tremor with equipment group 401A for $785; it’s included on the Tremor with equipment group 402A, and standard on King Ranch and Platinum trims. Note that it cannot be added to models that feature the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engine.

Content is as follows:

  • 3.31 Electronic-locking rear-axle with 5.0L V8 engine  or 3.5L V6 EcoBoost
  • 3.55 Electronic-locking rear-axle with 2.7L V6 EcoBoost
  • 4Ă—4 “FX4 Off-Road” bodyside decal

Bed Utility Package

The Bed Utility Package (option code 68L) is optional for $635 on XLT, Lariat, and Tremor (401A), while it’s included as standard on Tremor (402A), King Ranch, Platinum, and Raptor models. Content in this package differs depending on trim level:

Mobile Office Package

The Mobile Office Package (option code 50M) turns the 2025 Ford F-150 into a mobile office with a handful of features. This package is an extra-cost add-on for STX (200A/201A), XLT (301A/302A), Lariat (501A), and Tremor (401A) models. Meanwhile, It’s standard on XLT (303A), Lariat (502A), King Ranch, Platinum, Tremor (402A), and Raptor models. Content differs depending on trim level:

Other changes on the way to the 2025 Ford F-150 include the addition of two new colors, including Space White Metallic and Marsh Gray, while losing two others. The XL and STX lose their standard navigation features, although Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are still available via the infotainment system and can be used instead of the factory navigation technology.

Additionally, the 2025 Ford F-150 nixes the Heritage Edition Package. Previously, this throwback package was offered on XLT High (303A) models, but has been completely slashed from the order books. Finally, the SecuriCode keypad is no longer included as standard, but it can still be added to any trim as a $455 extra, but it must be installed by a dealer.

Pricing for the 2025 Ford F-150 starts at $38,710, not including destination freight charges, and it’s worth noting that several trims are significantly more affordable than they were for 2024. Production of the pickup commenced at the Dearborn Truck plant in Michigan on November 12th, and operations at the Kansas City Assembly plant in Missouri, began on December 9th.
