Fresh off a complete overhaul for the 2024 model year, the 2025 Ford Ranger soldiers on without many changes and updates. Buyers of the midsize pickup have a variety of packages to choose from, and each bundle includes a myriad of features from aesthetic upgrades to technological and mechanical add-ons. Below, Ford Authority details every available package, including availability, content, and pricing for each one.
Package availability depends on trim level. As a reminder, the 2025 Ford Ranger model line continues with four trims, including XL, XLT, Lariat, and Raptor.
The STX Appearance Package (option code 76F)Â is standard on and exclusive to the Ranger XL, meaning it does not add any extra cost to the midsize pickup. Features included in this package are as follows:
All new for 2025, the Black Appearance Package (option code 76J) is optional on the 2025 Ford Ranger XLT and Lariat trims. Note that it cannot be added in conjunction with either the Sport Appearance Package or Chrome Accent Package. Priced at $895, content in this package is as follows:
Available on the 2025 Ranger XLT and Lariat, the Chrome Appearance Package cannot be added alongside the Sport Appearance Package or Black Appearance Package. Note that it also requires the $215 integrated Box Side Step also be equipped, but it is not included as part of the package.
As the name implies, this bundle includes the following chrome elements, costing $680:
The Sport Appearance Package (option code 76E) is included as standard fare on the 2025 Ranger XLT and Lariat. It cannot be added with either the Chrome Accent Package or Black Appearance Package. Because it is standard, it does not cost extra on either of the aforementioned trims.
Content included in this package is as follows:
Offered exclusively on the 2025 Ranger XLT, the Technology Package (option code 67Y) costs $1,100 and includes the following:
The FX4 Off-Road Package (option code 914) is an optional extra offered for $1,095 on the 2025 Ranger XLT and Lariat trims. Note that it is exclusively available on pickups outfitted with the optional 4X4 drivetrain, and cannot be added to models featuring the standard 4X2 configuration.
Content is as follows:
The following equipment, meanwhile, is optional as part of the FX4 Package, and is only available for XLT-trimmed models. It cannot be added with the Chrome Accent or Black Appearance Package:
Standard on XLT and Lariat, the Ford Co-Pilot 360 bundle (option code 67J) includes the following at no extra cost:
The Trailer Tow Package (option code 53R) is optional on the XL, XLT, and Lariat trims for $495. It includes the following:
The Advanced Towing Package is a $825 package on the 2025 Ford Ranger XL, although it excludes the Technology Package on this trim. It can be added to the Ranger XLT and Lariat 4X4 as a standalone $825 option, and is also available as part of a $1,845 bundle that includes the Technology Package. Finally, it’s standard on all Raptor trimmed models. It includes the following:
The 2025 Ford Ranger also features a bevy of optional grilles, as previously explored by Ford Authority.
Standout changes for the 2025 Ranger include the loss of its factory-installed keyless entry keypad, which has been replaced by a dealer-installed version. The pickup is gaining three new exterior color options as well, including Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Desert Sand, and Marsh Gray, though these colors come at the cost of Cactus Gray, Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, and Iconic Silver Metallic.
The 2025 Ford Ranger starts at $32,890, making it a tad more expensive than it was for the 2024 model year, as reported by Ford Authority. Production will start in early January 2025 at the Michigan Assembly plant.
It lost some ground to its cross-town rival in recent months, however.
A rather bizarre incident, indeed.
A DOE spokesperson denied the report.
Amid a general slowdown in demand for EVs.
With swiveling power outlets.

Still no moonroof! Even the Maverick has that option…
Still no moonroof. :-( even the Maverick has one
still not putting the A-Pillar with hand grip on the driver side. What a shame, makes the interior look bear. A simple not very expensive item. Or make it optional.
