The slight increase in Ford Motor Company Mexico sales in June maintained the automaker’s positive momentum in the Latin American country. Despite a very small drop in Ford brand sales, the month’s result represents the third consecutive monthly increase in FoMoCo sales in the Mexican market.
Although most Ford Motor Mexico models were in the red in June, the overall result was balanced by healthy increases in several nameplates. Among these was the best-selling Ford F-Series, which solidified its leadership position with a solid double-digit increase for one of its best monthly performances so far this calendar year.
Additionally, the triple-digit increase in Ford Explorer sales propels the three-row utility to be among the best-selling nameplates in its segment. Also worth noting are the healthy increases for the Ford Expedition and three of the four Lincoln models, offsetting significant declines for the Ford Territory, Transit, and Escape.
The speed's there, but circumstance hasn't let it shine.

Now, the executive is using that term again.
