Just yesterday, we discovered that the 2021 Ford F-150 configurator was live, at least via a special link. This is great news for prospective buyers looking to configure their new Ford F-150, of course, but it also provides us with some detailed pricing information. We recently reported on some 2021 F-150 pricing specifics such as the cost of the new Limited and four-wheel-drive models, but now we have a complete picture of the entire range of 2021 Ford F-150 pricing.
The base price of the XL comes in at $28,940, while stepping up to the XLT will cost at least $35,050. The luxurious Lariat starts out at $44,695, while the King Ranch kicks off at $56,330. Meanwhile, the range-topping duo, the Platinum and Limited, feature starting prices of $59,110 and $70,825, respectively. These prices do not include a $1,695 destination fee, which brings the price of the entry-level XL just past the $30k mark.
In terms of powertrain options, the 3.3L Duratec V6 remains the entry-level choice in the XL. Stepping up to the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 costs an additional $1,195, while the 5.0L Coyote V8 is a $1,995 option.
Meanwhile, the Lariat comes standard with the 2.7 V6. Ford’s 3.0L Power Stroke diesel costs an additional $3,800, while the 5.0 is only $800 more, and the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 runs an additional $1,400.
The King Ranch and Platinum come standard with the 5.0. Optional engine choices for these two trim levels include the 3.0L diesel for $3,000, 3.5L V6 for $600, or the 3.5L PowerBoost Hybrid for $2,500. The Limited comes standard with the 3.5L EcoBoost V6, which is the only engine available in that trim level.
It’s worth noting that the configurator is a “first look” version, and Ford notes that the complete build & price tool will be available in the fall. Therefore, these options and 2021 Ford F-150 pricing are subject to change slightly. But in the meantime, it’ll certainly whet our collective appetites.
We’ll have much more on the new F-150 soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford F-Series news, Ford F-150 news, and continuous Ford news coverage.
