The Ford Maverick is getting its very first refresh for the 2025 model year, one that’s ushering in a host of changes including some exterior styling updates, a larger standard infotainment screen, and a few mechanical changes, as well as the debut of the all-new street performance-focused Lobo variant. When it was unveiled, the 2025 Ford Maverick Lobo was slated to launch with just one equipment group – 702A – but as Ford Authority recently reported, it’s also gaining a cheaper 402A equipment group as part of the pickup’s Job 2 update, which is currently slated to begin on February 3rd, 2025. Now, we know how much that model will cost.

Destination $1,595 $1,595 $0

The base 2025 Ford Maverick Lobo will start out at $35,100 when it debuts next year, minus the destination charge of $1,595. That’s a rather significant $5,395 less than the better- equipped 702A version, which should help it appeal more to value-conscious shoppers who want a sporty compact pickup but don’t necessarily need or want a bevy of features. The 702A equipment group includes a 400W inverter, an acoustic windshield, all-weather floor liners, ambient lighting, tie-down locking rails for the bed, a spray-in bedliner, the B&O sound system, one-year of Connected Navigation, dual rear USB ports, dual-zone automatic climate control, Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0, a heated steering wheel and seats, a power moonroof, power sliding rear window, illuminated visors, a wireless charging pad, Pro Trailer Backup Assist, and Pro Trailer Hitch Assist.

As Ford Authority previously reported, the cheaper Ford Maverick Lobo comes equipped with the same seven-speed automatic transmission as the discontinued Ford Edge ST, along with a twin-clutch advanced all-wheel drive system, the Lobo drive mode, beefier brakes, paddle shifters, a specially-tuned suspension and steering, a lowered ride height, 19-inch Turbofan-style wheels, a black-painted roof, black Ford logos, fog lamps, LED project headlamps with signature accent lighting, LED taillamps, and painted door handles, grille accent bar, and rockers, plus a unique front fascia. Additionally, the Ford Maverick Lobo comes with unique accent stitching inside the cabin, as well as Ford Co-Pilot360.
