After recording its first increase of the calendar year in April, Ford Motor Company Mexico sales again posted a healthy increase in May. The automaker achieved a small year-over-year increase, adding just 44 units, but maintained its growth both for the month and year-to-date.
Nearly half of the models FoMoCo offers in Mexico saw sales increase in May, including the best-selling Ford F-Series. Ford’s full-size truck lineup posted another double-digit increase, adding more than 100 units year-over-year, cementing its position as the company’s most popular nameplate in the country.
Additionally, the Ford Explorer and Lincoln Navigator once again stood out as the company’s fastest-growing models in Mexico, with significant triple-digit increases in sales for the month. Meanwhile, the Ford Territory again lost sales volume and deepened its negative performance, further distancing itself from the F-Series in the top-selling rankings.
