The 2025 Ford F-150 is the fifth model year of the pickup’s 14th generation. Having received a refresh for the 2024 model year, the 2025 F-150 does not feature major changes or updates compared to its predecessor, but does feature the addition of the Platinum Plus package, new wheels, and more.
These changes follow the 2021 Ford F-150, which represented a generational changeover for the pickup and represented a complete overhaul (redesign) both inside and out, along with the aforementioned 2024 Ford F-150, which itself received significant updates.

Production
Production of the 2025 Ford F-150 commenced at the the Dearborn Truck plant in Michigan on November 12th, 2024, and a few weeks later, operations at the Kansas City Assembly plant in Missouri kicked off on December 9th.
Platform
The 2025 Ford F-150 is underpinned by the Ford P552 Platform.
Seating
The 2025 F-150 continues being offered a single 2-3 seating configuration, accommodating five passengers. This setup features two front bucket seats (providing seating for two), along with a bench seat in the second row (seating three).
Beyond 2025
The refreshed Ford F-150 will continue being sold through the 2026 model year before the pickup receives a complete overhaul for 2027. This will include a completely new platform, along with notable updates and changes both inside and out. It will also include a revised powertrain lineup, and will continue to be sold alongside the all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning.
