As Ford Authority reported a few weeks ago, the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 is set to make its official debut at the 2023 Detroit Auto Show – along with a new hybrid variant – which is set to kick off next week. Any time The Blue Oval updates its perennially best-selling pickup, it’s obviously big news and a rather special occasion, and as such, the automaker is now asking owners to send the company photos of their heritage Ford F-Series pickups, according to Ted Ryan, who is FoMoCo’s archives and heritage brand manager.

Ryan is asking owners of older F-Series pickups to email photos of those vehicles to media@ford.com, along with the year and model. A select few will see their photos and information used during what the automaker is calling the “Ford F-150 Fest,” set to take place during the reveal of the 2024 Ford F-150 next Tuesday, September 12th, at the Detroit Auto Show, which seems like a pretty cool way to celebrate the latest refresh for the popular pickup.

To date, Ford Authority has spotted a host of 2024 Ford F-150 pickups out testing, including a base XL trim, Tremor, Lariat, Platinum, Raptor, Raptor R, a Heritage Edition, an XLT with the STX Package, and a Platinum with the optional Black Appearance Package, just to name a few, giving us a good idea of what to expect from the forthcoming pickup, including its revised exterior styling and updated interior. In addition to the typical styling and tech updates, the 2024 Ford F-150 will bring forth a number of changes to the popular model, including new 22-inch wheels, an available modular front bumper, a redesigned Ford Blue Oval badge, and a new trim level dubbed the Lobo.

We’ll have more on the 2024 Ford F-150 soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford F-Series newsFord F-150 news, and comprehensive Ford news coverage.
