Ford Transit Connect sales decreased in the United States and Canada during Q4 2022.

After a 24 percent slide in Ford Transit Connect sales, The Blue Oval’s compact van offering lost its first-place position in the relatively small segment, selling 4,957 units during the fourth quarter of 2022. It was outperformed by the Ram ProMaster City once again, which posted a steep 83 percent increase and sold 5,713 units. The discontinued Nissan NV saw zero sales once again.

In terms of segment share, the ProMaster commanded 54 percent segment share, up 23 percentage points year-over-year. Ford Transit Connect sales, meanwhile, accounted for 46 percent segment share, down 19 percentage points, and the axed NV slipped to zero share, down four percentage points.
The compact van segment increased six percent in Q4 2022, meaning that by comparison, Ford Transit Connect sales underperformed the segment average last quarter.
Despite its steep decline, Ford Transit Connect sales are certainly nothing to discount, as it sold almost 5,000 units last quarter, indicating that the compact van line is still somewhat popular among consumers. However, It’s not exactly surprising that the Transit Connect experienced a decline in sales during the fourth quarter of 2022, as the compact van will allegedly exit the U.S. market, indicating the end of its lifespan in the U.S. and Canada. However, nothing has been made official as of this writing. It should be noted that the ProMaster City has been discontinued and production ended in 2022, so Stellantis may have pushed out more favorable incentives for the van. Additionally, Transit Connect sales may have been limited due to supply chain issues that prevented an ample number of units on dealers lots, thus depressing sales for Q4 2022.
Some big changes may be in store.

When is the last time you saw an ad for them? Print or other media
I ORDERED a 2023 Transit Connect Titanium in August. Still no VIN number. Evidently hasn't started. Suppose the fact than Ford doesn't advertise the Wagon makes the lack of sales, a "Self Fulfilling Prophacy?"
Or maybe it’s rather unwise to spend ad $$ to build traffic for a late in life vehicle that would need incentives to sell when you are directing suppliers to use short supply commodities for popular high margin vehicles.
IOW if to choose between an F-series or Connect, Connect’s gonna have to wait.
Sales/market share is down because Ford is not building them. The company I work for has had 11 of them on order for forever. We cannot get them, or even any information about them. We cannot get Escapes we ordered for the sales team either.
So guess what Ford, we are getting our needed vehicles from other sources.
I agree numbers are down directly because of availability. Ford are producing the vehicles with the highest return. Yes the availability of Chinese parts play a role but maybe it’s time to reduce technology return to manual functions like heater and radio controls.
it’s a shame for this not supplying transit connect to the customers I ordered a 2022 in January 1922 and received it in December 22 I wars of 23, August 23 still waiting on information of the build, you can’t get any mail information from Ford Motor Company on anything. It’s a shame they discontinued your transit connect, but the sales numbers would be up if they would deliver the vehicles.
Feb 9, 2022 Ford promised me a Transit Connect. Nothing yet, but they refuse to connect me with someone who can say when it will be delivered. Dealer and corporate are worse than useless
Hé! Ford, keep this transit connet for people who love to travel in family whith a normal price for this truck. You have to do the same thing for the fusion and Cmax. Do some advertizing for these vehicules and you will sell a lot of them.We love them.
