Once again, Ford Argentina’s sales fell in November, adding to the brand’s lackluster performance in the South American country. The loss represents Ford’s second consecutive month in the red in the local market, although with one of the lowest rates of decline of the entire calendar year.
As usual, Ford Argentina’s poor sales performance in November is directly related to the registration of the best-selling Ford Ranger. The midsize pickup suffered a loss that subtracted 161 units from the year-over-year total, making it the main protagonist of the fall, but without losing its comfortable position as the brand’s most popular vehicle in the country.
On the other hand, the Ford Territory and three other brand’s nameplates managed to increase their sales in the November. The compact crossover experienced a remarkable double-digit growth and consolidated its position as the second best-selling model of the brand. Additionally, the F-Series registered the highest rate of increase, increasing fivefold its year-on-year figure.
