The Ford Authority Take

Ford Brazil sales posted a healthy increase in February, which continues to expand the brand’s growth streak in the South American country, where it has accumulated eleven consecutive months of increases and is experiencing its best commercial moment as a net importer. Ford’s improvement is driven by the positive reception of the brand’s latest launches.

In fact, most Ford Brazil vehicles managed to increase their sales in February, driven by another stellar result from the best-selling Ford Ranger. The current generation midsize pickup continues to consolidate its position as the second best-selling truck in its class, selling almost twice as many units as the Chevrolet S10 in the month – which was relegated to third place.

Additionally, the Ford Territory also managed a healthy rise in the month and continues to grow in popularity as the brand’s second best-selling nameplate. While the Ford Mustang and Ford F-Series were the models with the highest year-over-year growth rates, achieving a good volume of over 100 units in the month.
