The increase in Lincoln Corsair sales during Q2 2022 is a nice change of pace for the luxury crossover considering the ongoing supply chain constraints faced by FoMoCo and the auto industry at large. Automobile production has been heavily impacted during the past two years, resulting in substantial production cuts that then translated to near record-low inventories, record-low incentives, and record-high new vehicle prices.
We imagine that the uptick is the result of chips and other supplies having become available to produce or finish producing the Corsair.
It’s also worth noting that the Corsair isn’t the only Lincoln to be in the green during the quarter, since three out of four Lincoln utilities also posted gains during the second quarter.
