Ford Argentina sales fell nine percent to 2,622 units during September 2022 compared to September 2021 results. The figures placed Ford as the sixth best-selling car brand in Argentina, behind Toyota, Renault, Fiat, Volkswagen, and Peugeot.

During the first nine months of the 2022 calendar year, Ford Argentina sales decreased seven percent to 21,403 units.

After registering a considerable increase in August, Ford Argentina sales once again dipped into the red during September. Contrary to the improvement of the Argentine automotive market and most mainstream brands, Ford was one of a few that saw sales decrease during the month.
The decrease in Ford Argentina sales during September was caused by lower sales of its best-selling Ford Ranger and EcoSport models, the latter of which lost its usual position as Ford’s second best-selling vehicle in the country. Both models suffered notable two-digit drops.
Incidentally, the Ranger registered the same volume of 1,334 sales in September as it did in August.
In contrast, five Ford nameplates managed to increase their sales volume in September, including the Territory, Kuga, Maverick, Transit, and Bronco Sport. In fact, the Ford Territory surpassed the EcoSport in sales volume, becoming The Blue Oval’s second best-selling model in Argentina.
