Ford Motor Company Mexico sales rose steadily in April, marking the second consecutive month of increases for the automaker in the country. In fact, FoMoCo increased its registrations despite the slowdown in demand for new vehicles that the Mexican market experienced last month.
Ford Mexico’s notable increase in April was mainly driven by the excellent performance of the all-new Ford Territory, which became the brand’s best-selling model for the first time. The next-generation compact crossover sold 858 units last month and surpassed the record for the Ford F-Series (828), traditionally the company’s best-selling nameplate.
In addition, the improved sales figures from the other eight models between both company brands made it possible to completely neutralize the lost sales from the Ford Figo, which The Blue Oval discontinued in late 2021.

That money could be going to both plants and new products.
