Ford Argentina sales decreased one percent to 2,064 units in July 2022 compared to July 2021 results. The figures place Ford as the seventh best-selling car brand in Argentina, behind Toyota, Fiat, Volkswagen, Renault, Peugeot and Chevrolet.

Ford Argentina sales decreased slightly in July, when it sold only 12 units less than the same month a year ago. As such, the slight decrease represents the second consecutive monthly drop in FoMoCo sales volume after the negative result in June.
Despite the solid growth of the Ford EcoSport, the notable improvement of Territory and Transit, as well as the incremental sales of all-new Maverick, the overall negative result was primarily driven by significant drops in the best-selling Ford Ranger. The midsize pickup truck, domestically manufactured in Argentina, continues to lose volume in the local market.
By contrast, the 417 sales of the new Ford Maverick represent its second-best record in the South American country, after the 606 deliveries recorded in May.
It's vying against a pretty large field of contenders, however.
Collectors have paid big bucks to acquire Ford family vehicles.

Ford se daño a si misma, el cierre de fabricas en Brasil, dejar a sus clientes sin sedanes pequeños, la salida de fabricacion de Ecosport, Focus y el constante incremento de precios en el mercado local de Argentina y la recurrente crisis economica que vive el pais, explica el porque de la caida de ventas! Sumado al cierre de agencias y servicios de pos-venta oficiales de la marca en todo el pais!
