Ford Chile sales increased 69 percent to 1,300 units in April 2024. As a result Ford was the country’s eight best-selling automobile brand during the month, behind Suzuki, Toyota, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Peugeot, Kia, and GWM.
Chilean auto sales figures are limited since reporting only shows the best-selling models in each segment. As such, no sales data is available for vehicles that sell in lower volumes. Nevertheless, individual Ford model sales performance (for models for which sales data is available) was as follows:

After suffering a specific setback in March, Ford Chile sales bounced back with a drastic and healthy increase in April. The substantial increase of the Blue Oval last month represents one of the best monthly results it has achieved recently in the Chilean market, where it has been gradually increasing its market share.
All of Ford Chile’s most popular models managed to increase their sales in April, with notable increases of double and triple digits. The brand’s lineup of trucks and commercial vehicles performed quite well in the month, led by the all-new Ford Ranger, which established itself as the best-selling model while simultaneously having the highest growth rate of any other vehicle in the lineup.
The Ford Transit also had a strong performance, almost tripling its volume year-on-year. Additionally, the Ford F-150 continues to gain traction, and the new Ford Territory once again posted positive figures, after having suffered drops in the first three months of the year.
