The notable double-digit increase resulted in a growth of almost 1,000 units by Ford Motor Company Mexico in January, continuing the automaker’s positive streak in the country and representing 11 consecutive months of growth. Interestingly, last month’s growth was practically identical to the 28.78 percent increase recorded by FoMoCo in the Mexican market during December 2023.
Unlike in prior months, the model that drove Ford Mexico sales during January was the all-new Ford Territory. The compact crossover recorded 995 units, positioning it as the best-selling FoMoCo model in the local market, surpassing the Ford F-Series – which typically leads The Blue Oval’s sales in Mexico – by a small margin.
For its part, the Ford Transit Courier had a surprising performance, recording the highest year-over-year growth rate among the company’s models, positioning it as Ford’s third-best-selling model. The small van had an unusually high volume of 609 units, enabling it to climb within the automaker’s internal podium for the very first time.
