April Ford Motor Company sales in Mexico were strongly impacted by stay-at-home orders stemming from the COVID-19 virus. The Blue Oval wasn’t alone in experiencing the substantial sales volume declines, as the rest of the auto industry also posted double-digit drops.
It’s worth noting that the Ford F-Series became FoMoCo’s best-selling vehicle in Mexico during April, a title typically reserved for the much more affordable Figo subcompact.
A conversion that was completed way back in the 1970s.

As Darrell Waltrip puts it, "You chose a fine time to leave me, loose wheel!"
Sales increased 18 percent to 38,762 units during the first nine months of 2025.
It's one of 40 built in total.
