Ford Argentina sales decreased 10 percent to 2,223 units in February 2021 compared to February 2020 results. The figures place Ford as the seventh best-selling automobile brand in Argentina, behind Toyota, Volkswagen, Fiat, Renault, Chevrolet and Peugeot.

Ford Argentina sales declined once again in February, deepening the negative result experienced by the brand in January. As such, February comes to represent Ford’s second consecutive decline in Argentina, while the country’s overall industry increased during the same period.
Like many other automobile brands in the South American country, Ford was affected by a policy of obstructing imports imposed by the Argentine authorities. This negatively impacts the result of the Ka and EcoSport, which are still imported from Brazil, along with the rest of the automaker’s models. The only exception was the locally-produced Ranger.
The midsize pickup further asserts its position as Ford’s best-selling model in the Argentine market, with notable double-digit increases in February as well as during the first two months of the year.

Ford esta haciendo muy mal las cosas, dejo de ofrecer automóviles populares como Fiesta y Focus, Ecosport que se vende bastante bien ahora vendrá importada desde India, pagando un 35% mas de impuestos. Ford Ranger perdió el liderazgo a manos de Toyota Hilux y Volkswagen Amarok. Me siento defraudado por Ford, lo digo como poseedor de una Ford Ecosport y Ford Ranger. Como cliente y fanático de la marca, siento que no le importo, SE OLVIDO DE SUS CLIENTES y ahora ofrece productos costosos para clientes premiun, en un país empobrecido como Argentina
