Ford Chile sales increased 43 percent to 1,263 units in January 2024. The figures place Ford as the seventh country’s best-selling automobile brand during the month, behind Toyota, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Kia, Peugeot and Suzuki.
Chilean auto sales figures are limited since reporting only shows the best-selling models in each segment. As such, no sales data is available for vehicles that sell in lower volumes. Nevertheless, individual Ford model sales performance (for models for which sales data is available) was as follows:

Ford Chile sales in January 2024 represents the brand’s fourth consecutive monthly increase in the South American country. In fact, the 1,263 units sold became the second highest record for the brand in the Chilean market – after the 1,371 deliveries that took place in December 2023.
In January, several Ford Chile models achieved performed solidly, which boosted the overall result. The Ford Ranger recorded a new healthy dose of sales that allowed it to continue leading the brand’s deliveries in the country, thanks to the redesigned model. The Ford Territory followed closely with a substantial increase and one that placed it in second place for Blue Oval vehicles.
However, the Ford F-Series and the Maverick were the most notable Ford vehicles in January. Ford’s full-size truck obtained its best record to date in the Chilean market with 222 units, which allowed it to lead sales in its category. Additionally, the Maverick exceeded 100 deliveries and continues to build momentum in the country.
