After posting five consecutive months of increases, Ford Motor Company Mexico sales suffered a single-digit decline in October. Several models posted considerable volume drops during the month, contributing to the automaker’s negative performance in the Mexican market.
Although the best-selling Ford F-Series was flat with a minimal decrease of one unit on a year-over-year basis, the balance was tipped to the negative side by the drastic contraction of the locally-built Ford Bronco Sport and the slump of other models such as the EcoSport, Transit and the discontinued Figo.
In contrast, the healthy rise of Ford Ranger as FoMoCo’s second best-selling model in Mexico, as well as the outstanding performance of the all-new Ford Territory are stand-outs. In fact, the recently launched Territory crossover was Ford’s third most popular nameplate during the month, with its first 509 deliveries in Mexico.

Automakers have shelled out hundreds of millions for violations in recent years.

A new, sporty all-electric van.
Enabling it to gain market share, too.

Posting sales numbers is almost meaningless due to production shortfalls and parts issues. Some real forecast numbers based on 'normal' conditions would better qualify the end actual results allowing for the above noted problems. Without this deeper analysis, y/y numbers are just..... numbers on a piece of paper. It's hard to buy stock in any company that glazes over meaningful analysis of what the company sales goals really are?
