I have a similar situation: I purchased a 2013 F150 XL in excellent condition, test drove smooth with plenty of power, smooth shifting and driving, so I purchased the truck ,the carfax stated that a “customer satisfaction program” had been issued from Fotd Motor Company, which led me to believe that the issue had been corrected, especially since the vehicle drove just fine on the test drive. After doing some research I found out about the recall on the software and the extended warranty on the transmission molded lead frame both yo corrected and covered by Ford Motor company. So I took it to my local Ford dealer to have it corrected that was back in July and after the software update my transmission went haywire and I couldn’t drive it, so it’s back at the dealership and they say they cant get parts until January and if I take my truck elsewhere it won’t be covered under the extended warranty?
How can the legally do this?

I just went over 400 mile to buy a 2022 Mach-e. The dealership had a 2022 so I bought it. I asked where all the battery charging stations were on the route home. I stopped for food and when I left I spotted a ford dealer and pulled up to the charging station but it was locked and I went inside and asked if I could charge up and was told this isn’t a public charger and was there for their customers only. I told them I just bought this car and they said I could charge up at all ford dealers.
I went on my way and I spot a dealer in Fremont, Ohio and so I pulled in and up to their charger, no lock on it i’m saved with 18 % left on battery. I plug in and still 18% after charging. I go inside and ask if something wrong with the charger and was told again it wasn’t a public charger and so off I went again in search of a charger. I get to Huron, Ohio with 5% showing on dash board. I pull into this hotel and pull up to their charger, Darn it was a Tesla charger. Then I said there is Valley Ford of Huron so I pull into this dealer and ask to use their charger and was told the same thing about not being a public charger with 3% charge left on battery. I know I can’t make it home with 3 % charge. then the manager came up and says that He will let me charge up to 20% if I write a good story on face book so I agreed. Well I made it home with 9% left on battery. When I plugged with the charger provided with the car it says a full charge will take 95 hours. So I call upon a good electrician, myself. After buying all the stuff needed, $500 I install a 240 volt to the garage and boom a 20 mile an hour charge. On the second charge the yellow lights come the charger. I looked on the Ford forum and the people are saying the provided chargers are cheap throw aways and so More expense with a $400 charger from Home depot.
The point of this is that I have life threatening disabilities from serving in the Marines in Viet Nam. I’m also a retired lawyer who does work with the ADA. My opinion on this matter of the Blue Oval charging network is it fails all the ADA requirements. From the purchase of said vehicle where no one went over said vehicle other than to say I can charge at any ford dealership. And another concern Is dealership mark-up on these cars after Ford anounced that the dealers can’t go above so the car I bought was marked up $10000 over sticker. I then remembered a ruling from the top court in the people vs. Mc Donalds the court ruled that even tho the stores are independant ownerships the parent company is still responcible for policies and procedures. There is nothing to warn people with disabilities about traveling in an EV auto. We can not have people with life threatening disabilities sitting on the side of the roads.

2014 Ford Focus I take it in once a year for clutch and adjustments. Today, This time it is the TCM. (89,000 miles). Under warranty but parts are still 5-6 months out. Picked the car up and will let it sit until.???? I called Ford and filed a complaint and they gave me a Claim# and said there is nothing they could do. No loaner, no answer and basically no help. What good is filling a claim and giving me a number. Is there a buyback program, active lawsuits or helpful information out there ?

    I have a 2022 F150 Platinum. It is running the Sync 4.0.

Ford just released the Blue Cruise 1.2 for the 2023 Mustang and a couple others, including the F150. I use the features of Blue Cruise daily and really benefit from it. I am wondering if Ford will provide an upgrade to the 1.2 system from my current system. The added features are practical, obvious and desirable.

Is there an upgrade coming with the Blue Cruise 1.2 coming for the current 2022 F150 models?

I ordered my 2022 Titanium Escape Hybrid on 1/31/22. I got my first “build” email saying it was to be built in April. I started getting nearly weekly delays, that eventually said August. Thankfully, my car JUST got produced. My dealer told me last week, and I got my Ford email today that it was “produced”. They say delivery is 5-6 weeks. Unfortunately, they deleted the “foot activated lift gate” (gave me a whopping $55 credit) and they deleted the 4G wi-fi hotspot (an insulting $20 credit). Pretty tiny credit for two features that sets the Escape apart from the other small SUV’s.

    Hang in there!

Same situation. Ordered mine in Sept. of 2021. Build was finished end of Feb. 2022. It has been on hold at plant since April waiting for a microchip and we are coming up on a year since we ordered. Frustrated beyond words as I’ve seen articles stating that Ford is prioritizing chips for their vehicles that are biggest money makers. Can’t imagine what sitting in a yard for 4 months unmoved does to a vehicle. If that is the case, it sure says a lot about how they value longtime customers.

Why has this issue not been recalled ? I only have 100,000 on mine and frame is gone .I’m a hard working American and I just can’t go out and buy another truck .Ford needs to do something about this ,it’s they’re fault and they need to pay for it.

Hi all, I’m new to the forum and look forward to learning and contributing when I can add to a topic.

Long time Ford owner. I live in Phoenix, Arizona and drive a 2013 F-150 FX4 Supercab with 91,000 miles on the odometer. I also have a 2018 Edge Titanium.

I’m interested in building a new 2023 F-150 Supercab, using the Lariat model. Not knowing what I don’t know, i’m interested in the process from someone who have ordered a vehicle through Ford.

Is it better to build? How accurate is the process? What is the expectation for timeline. Any options I can skip and buy aftermarket? Any tips or tricks?

Thanks for the help and guidance!

    Greetings first time forum user.

We ordered a new 2022 Ford Explorer XLT in May 2022. When the vehicle arrived at the dealership we discovered the navigation system was not installed despite the customer order form showing it as such. The dealership confirmed this was how they placed the order but claim they have no explanation through Ford as to why it wasn’t installed. Is this common? Ordering something and not getting what you ordered or paid for even if it’s within a package?

We recognize due to the chip shortage some options are no longer available however is this common practice of Ford or dealerships to arbitrarily leave an option off the order and not communicate it to the buyer? No call, no explanation, take it or leave it attitude is troublesome?

My 2014 Ford Focus, which I have had for 6 years, finally developed a problem with the TCM and has been sitting in my garage for two months while the part has been backordered. Car can’t be driven and ss with the rest of you Ford is doing nothing to resolve this backorder problem. Jeff Hall

So can the Ford Ranger Raptor have a 32 Gal factory fuel tank option? Sliding ELECTRIC rear window? Stepup fold out of rear tailgate?

Well I finally had my hearing with the arbitrator since my car has been parked in the garage for 2 years. I was awarded a new transmission and clutches, but Ford has me jumping thru hoops to get to that point. I just want this whole ordeal to be over. 57,000 miles.
