Ford Chile sales in July showed the brand has some momentum in the country, where it has accumulated three consecutive months of increases. In fact, the 1,101 unit figure not only represents a year-over-year improvement, but is also the highest number in the immediately preceding three months.
Ford Chile’s strong volume in July was driven by healthy increases in the brand’s main nameplates. This includes a significant volume upgrade for the Ford Ranger, which reinforces its position as the brand’s best-selling model so far this year. It also highlights the great improvement of the Ford F-Series compared to July 2022, with a notable four-digit increase.
However, Ford’s sales thus far in 2023 remain lower than the same period in 2022 due to soft demand in the Chilean market during most of the first half of the year.
