I recieved an update that it has been shipped. I’ve seen on other forums that wait times vary. My invoice says Rail, so I have no idea where its sitting at this point. Dealer says Ford know, Ford says the dealer knows. Once again I’m sitting on my hands with no idea of a delivery date, could be by July 23rd as was stated in the last email.

I ordered my F350, Lariat, 6.7 diesel, blackout package, with the fifth wheel prep and spray-in bed-liner around March 15. Since then I have deleted the fifth wheel prep and spray in bedliner off the order. I was originally quoted by the dealer 8-12 weeks. I have seen nothing and the dealer has seen nothing for updates. How far behind is Ford? I also live in the Nashville, TN area, can I go to Louisville, KY and pick the truck up when its done??? Inquiring minds would like to know.

My 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis LS Lumbar bag driver seat has a puncture in it. I need a replacement lumbar bag driver seat Ford doesn’t offer this part anymore. I’m not sure what years will work in the 07 Mercury Grand Marquis LS, I can’t find aftermarket lumbar bag either. I think last time you advised salvage yards but I have had no luck, any information would be appreciated. Thank You! ( Elvis McGilvray ) 7-19-2022

Looking for solution for the incredibly dim projection of these headlights.

Yes replaced with newer bulbs. Still dim

Tried LED Sylvania H11 still not great at all.

Any aftermarket headlight solutions since the dealer says yeah they are dim?

I ordered a Maverick at the end of august 2021 and got confirmation beginning of sept 2021 and I read awhile back that ford was going honor the financing that was available at the time of order. Is this true? Now i cant find that article i saw previously. Any advice?

My F150 was ordered October 2021 built and released June 9, 2022 and categorized awaiting shipment. Ford website says that notification means a few days or a couple of weeks. It has now been a month. I have no idea when to expect it. It’s collecting dust. Frustrating

My 2020 Escape Titanium Hybrid Brakes failed. We were parked in a church parking lot, Went to leave, Foot on the brake and started the SUV. The vehicle moves in reverse, I turn into the lane . Then I applied the brake pedal to stop the vehicle. No brakes. The vehicle continued to move in reverse, hit a curb then a tree. Damage to the passenger rear section and bumper. We are hoping a diagnostic review of the computer will show loss of brakes so Ford is responsible and not our insurance. Has anyone else lost brakes then had damage .

I ordered a ford maverick on November 2 nd and still have not received a build date. If sales are down 19% would would think they would build what they already sold!

I just received an email from Ford. Says they are going to update orders every 45 days. They are still experiencing shortages & also dealing with planning for 2023. Days they will be honest and open. My dealer says, some models are shifted to 2023 others are not. Only time will tell. 45 days is a long time. Also talked to Z orders, they are also talking late fall when they said June a few months ago. Just in time manu does not work in these times. Country & industries were asleep at the wheel and we have to rethink allowing globalization . It’s a mirage.

I think my 2018 Ford F150 5.0 is burning oil. I bought it used with 46,000 miles and at 48,000miles I checked the oil and only at the tip of the dipstick showed any oil! Thus I began reading of the Ford 5.0 engine oil hideous oil consumption as other owners found this out! There is error making these engines, no there are no external oil leaks as the oil is burned inside. This is an expensive truck to buy, where to I go now? Will Fomoco stand behind their product, with a recall, buy back or will Ford walk away?
    Please advise.
    Thank You

I am not personally familiar with the peopke running the show but I feel you are making HUGE MISTAKES in Ford’s future.
Taking away options on a given vehicle so there’s just one choice AND ONE PRICE or even ditching the brochures would absolutely make me pause in my purchase decisions. You’re removing all the fun and excitement of the purchase! I like the brochures we can browse and make notes on [the online must be restarted multiple times to get somewhere near what you need] and we like more than
white/brown/black/red on trucks. Choices in interiors/exteriors has already shrunk unless you go to a much more expensive model which means maybe one or two more colors. If 25% of your income is from Super Duty, I would rethink future options and count yourself lucky to have loyal Ford fans!
Living in the Midwest, the nearest EV station is 35 miles from here and is a commercial #2…providing charge for 45 miles in 3 to 5 hours AND charges 20 cents per killiwatt instead of the usual 12 cents. Yeah, I’m going to go electric…but not in this lifetime. I wonder how many people live in the Midwest? Just food for thought.

Is Ford dishonest about the federal tax credit? Ford continues to be dishonest by advertising that EV buyers will “Possibly Be Eligible for the Federal Tax Credit”. They are very near the 200,000 cap when the $7500 is cut to $3750 than to $1875. They have accepted more Lightning, Mustang Mach-E, E Transit Van and Escape plug-ins Orders that will pass it in the next quarter. IF one believes the Corporate Executives their backlogs stretch into the 2nd quarter 2023.

Then NO TAX CREDITS will be available.

Of course Congress is still dithering. Better for the Auto Industry if they Pass The Chip Industry support program that the Senate and House cannot agree on details.

Dealers ask your on-order clients what they think??

That sounds like some BS run around Ford is giving you. My Truck was built last Monday and shipped on Thursday. They told me it’s supposed to be at the dealer between July 25 to 31. My buddy got his new Bronco with in 2 1/2 weeks from the Build date. You can drive a tractor trailer across the entire country in a couple days. Makes no sense why they are making you wait 2 months
