My Ranger has been sitting at the dealer for over two weeks waiting parts. Called Ford customer service two days after dealer said parts were back ordered. To date no parts and no updates from dealer or Ford. Is this customer service!

Just received an update from ford pushing out our order

We have made an adjustment to the production date for your 2022 Super Duty F-250 Lariat.

Your vehicle is now scheduled to be built the week of July 18, 2022. We will continue to keep you informed regarding your vehicle’s production status.

I ordered a F-250 Platinum on December 10, 2021. On March 18 , I received an email that stated there was a delay with parts. Is it true that Ford has stopped production on the 2022 F-250?

Will the 2023 Ford Escape have paddle shifters? I know the 2021 model discontinued the paddles but I would really like to have them.

With the Blue Oval’s big electrification push, I have to wonder if Ford will make a Bronco Electric or Bronco EV. It seems that Ford hit it out of the park with the Electric F-150 Lightning, so why not apply the same formula to the Bronco? Seems like a no brainer.

What is the major delay on the Ford Super Duties? Is it the Chips? I ordered a truck in January 2022 and I’ve only heard it’s delayed in March. Does anyone have any info on when they will start moving out? Are they building? Someone else ordered before me in November of 2021 and they haven’t started building their truck yet either.

I am looking for news on what Ford is intending to do with Ford Edge production. Will they replace the Edge with a new model or will Ford Edge be discontinued?

What I meant to say – Ford should honor the average guy and make the XLJ package as outlined above.
Ford can save money by stopping the roll-up windows on some vehicles. It would be easier to have the same basic power equipment on ALL models with the extra higher packages getting the more expensive equipment. Yes at the expense of the Safety Features – I’ve been driving for many years and do not need those features. A Basic Truck with a 5year, 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty would get me excited and I would become a FORD FAN!
The XLJ package would provide more income for FORD and at the same time, provide the Average “Joe”
a Basic vehicle package with some comforts and niceties that would really work well.
Thinking about it further – the Full Size Spare could be a Winter Tire with the option to purchase a second Winter Tire for $300. The spare tire is not used except for emergencies, and when Winter comes in the Eastern states, you would have two front winter tires to help with traction.
FORD – You Have The Opportunity to leave the other companies In The Dust!
Again — just my 2 cents!
The Maverick is a HIT, just make it EVEN BETTER!

I was on my way home down my dirt road going about 20 mph, about maybe 50 feet from my driveway, no foot on the brake, the 2022 Ford Bronco shuts completely off, and all monitors go dark. Bronco is still moving or coasting. This has only happened twice. I turn while my foot is on the brake and I park it near my house, then the monitors all come back on including the engine.

The “XLJ” is a NEW TRIM package that stands for XL package for the “average Joe”.
    – Package price $21,999 including delivery charge.
    – Ford Financing: 10% down, 72 months financed at 3.99%
    – Signed Dealership form stating exact price and financing rate – to be honored by dealership upon delivery

    2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid XLJ 2.5-liter in-line 4 [$21,999 including delivery charge]
    Included:
-Steel Wheels: with Full size spare and choice of two-three assorted Ford hub cabs
-Apple Car Play & Android Auto
    -LED Headlights
-Power Windows with Power Sliding Rear Window
    -Power Heated Mirrors
-8 way Power Heated driver seat with better lumbar support
    -10 tie-downs in bed
    -400 watt/110-volt bed inverter
    -Trailer Hitch w/4-pin
-Bed options: spray-in bed liner or plastic bed liner

    OPTION (1): Extra Cost: $2,799
    – For Bed Cap (colored to vehicle) installed at factory – or by dealer
    – LED Bed lights
    – Power tailgate lock
    – Two winter tires mounted on Steel wheels ($300 extra cost – only to the Eastern Winter States).

SUMMARY: I believe that FORD has a winner with the Maverick Hybrid. With some fine-tuning, it would great for everyone at any age.
The cost to FORD would be nominal. Making most units the same manufacturing process except for the XLT and Lariat packages that would cost much more.

[Well that’s my “2 cents”. Hoping to order the Maverick Hybrid “XLJ” come August 2022].
